One of the most difficult times in our lives is when someone dear to us dies. Nothing prepares us for the emotional shock of losing a loved one, even when it’s expected. A prepaid funeral plan can help protect your family from the distress and unexpected cost of arranging your funeral. It is sadly too often a cost that people don’t consider until they absolutely have to.
Planning your own funeral
Many people plan their own funeral well in advance, to make sure the funeral is what they would wish, and to take the stress away from the next of kin. Making prior arrangements yourself can make all the difference to your loved ones. You can take your time and think it through carefully, calmly and rationally. You’ll then get the kind of send off you really want. All you have to do is sit down with a member of our staff and discuss all your individual requirements, so that the plan can be made to suit your wishes and budget. Arrangements can be made in the comfort of your own home, or at our funeral home. Every aspect of the arrangements can be planned to suit you and the type of service you want, down to the style and content, music and the floral tribute. You’ll be issued with a Funeral Plan certificate to be held with your personal documents or with your solicitor, and a copy will be held on permanent file for you at our office.
There are lots of funeral plans out there and it is important to shop around and find the right one for you. A prepaid funeral plan can help cover the cost of a service for a cremation and provide a burial cost contribution.
Provide for the future at today’s cost
By planning for the future with a Funeral Plan you can save your family a lot of financial worry at a time when they least need it. The cost of your funeral is inflation proof and you’ll be able to purchase a Funeral Plan at today’s prices to cover all the agreed costs. Paying for the plan – the choice is yours:
You can pay for your Funeral Plan in cash, by cheque, by credit/debit card, or speak to us about monthly, quarterly & yearly payments.
You are essentially making a saving as, ideally when you take out your plan at a fixed price e.g £4,500 and live for example, for another 20 plus years, the cost will have increased but you will still be covered by the amount you have prepaid.
So we can deliver our obligations to you, all Funeral Plan monies are paid into a Trust Fund.
